Superintendent – Residential Remodeling Projects

Salary Range: 45k-85k (commensurate with education and experience level)

Are you excited and passionate about your new career in Residential Construction? Noble Renovation, an award-winning design build and remodel company based in Cary NC, is seeking a talented Superintendent to help lead production on our upscale remodeling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

      • Must possess strong communication skills.
      • Understands the importance of having clearly written scopes of work.
      • Coordinate material procurement so materials are there when needed and running to get materials is kept to a minimum.
      • Manage construction schedule and activities.
      • Ensure our work in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.
      • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.
      • Maintain quality execution and keep job clean and orderly. Return materials not needed in a timely manner to keep site clean and obtain proper credit.
      • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
      • Ability to anticipate problems and proactively come up with solutions.
      • Coordinate with sub-contractors to efficiently manage our production schedule.
      • Coordinate with suppliers, ordering construction materials as needed.
      • Inspect all deliveries, ensuring the materials are the right quantity and quality and are properly placed at the job site.
      • Monitor quality of all workmanship in detail. Stop work when necessary and provide training to independent contractors as needed.
      • Communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
      • Use your creative problem-solving skills to resolve construction and budget issues.
      • Conduct weekly goal setting and safety meetings with all on-site subcontractors.
      • Construction scheduling for all phase of construction.
      • Must always maintain a neat appearance.
      • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards immediately through enforcing the company’s site safety polices and subcontractor safety policies.

Qualifications:

      • 4-year Degree– Preferably in Construction Management
      • Familiarity with construction software and tools.
      • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Email, PDF’s and file management
      • Some previous experience in residential construction, with a strong understanding of remodeling processes and techniques.
      • Advanced knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
      • Understands the importance of projects staying on schedule and in budget.
      • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
      • Valid driver’s license

Estimator – Residential Remodeling & New Home Projects

Job Type: Part time or Full-time (work from home opportunity but must be local)

Compensation:  Commensurate with education and experience level.

Noble Renovation, an award-winning design build and remodel company based in Cary NC, is seeking an estimator who is passionate about being accurate. Gathering and organizing data for our project budgets is key to our success.  This position requires a lot of blueprint reading, team collaboration and data entry.

We will provide you with the tech tools necessary to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

      • Collaborate w/ designers, Project Managers, architect, the homeowner, subs & vendors.
      • Write out professional scopes of work for each project.
      • Build out detailed budgets using our cost codes and templates.
      • Develop and manage our Budget Templates (by project type)
      • Manage our pricing / items catalog.
      • File management.
      • Materials: All necessary take off’s
      • Bid Request management.
      • Create and manage Purchase orders.
      • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.
      • Anticipate problems and proactively come up with solutions.
      • Use your creative problem-solving skills to resolve construction and budget issues.

Qualifications:

      • Minimum 2-year Associate Degree
      • Must understand Blueprints, construction language, materials and building practices.
      • Must possess strong Math and communication skills.
      • Must command the difference and use of  Mark up and Margin factors
      • Familiarity with estimating software.
      • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Email, PDF’s, and file management
      • Some previous experience in residential construction, with a strong understanding of remodeling processes and techniques.
      • Advanced knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
